Also, Mr. Fredrick’s younger brother, Mr. Ogheneruemu Okonedo was conspicuously present at the occasion.

The bride’s family presented kola nuts, drinks and money to the groom’s family in a coordinated manner. The gesture was reciprocated by the groom’s family. This was followed by cogent discussion between the bride’s and the groom’s families as the Urhobo culture demands. The discussion went on successfully under a convival atmosphere as the spokesman competently and skillfully facilitated the process to the end.
Mr. Nelson Okonedo, prayed for the groom and bride and wished them success, even as he urged the groom, Mr. Irikefe to proceed with the traditional marriage and wedding ceremony as soon as possible, saying that Okonedo family looks forward to seeing it happen very soon.
