PORT HARCOURT/Nigeria: Awards are conferred on men and women who are Distinguished or accomplished in their areas of endeavors, or better still, those that recorded great achievements and successes.
To Chief Eze hukwuemeka Eze, the Amaechi media war commander, he is an experienced and professional journalist that have recorded great achievements hence he’s deserving of this award.
Chief Eze Chukwuemeka Eze, is a journalist and a chieftain of the All Progressive Congress, APC in South South region of Nigeria.
His pattern of journalism saw to his becoming the spokesman of TURAKI VANGUARD, a group that fought assiduously to scuttle the third term Presidential agenda of Chief Olusegun Obasanjo.
His comments and opinions on political issues saw to his emerging, the national publicity secretary of new people’s Democratic party nPDP, a group that merged with APC at formation stage to defeat incumbent President Goodluck Jonathan
His defensive comments and opinions for Rivers APC and Rt Hon Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, minister of transportation, provoked the Governor of Rivers state, Chief E N Wike who resorted during one his state wide broadcast, to addressing Chief Eze, a well over 60 year old man, as that Igbo boy.
Chief Eze is a man with the heart of gold, an enigma and above all a philanthropist that have helped humanity and impacted to many homes especially this Yuletide season, may God bless you sir.
On Sunday the 20th day of December 2020, Chief Eze chukwuemeka Eze and other well meaning Nigerians, cooperate organizations including security formations, were conferred with awards of various degrees at Southern Star Hotels and Towers Port Harcourt.
Hon Benson Nwachukwu stood in for Chief Eze chukwuemeka Eze, who was conferred with the award, for being the most controversial in 2020 by Delvs Service, the publishers of African Update Newspapers and Magazine, in recognition of his comments and opinions in political matters at the 2nd edition of the Trendsetters Award TSA 20.
While presenting the award, Mrs Gloria Boma Hary the Chief Executive Officer of Delvs Service, extolled the virtues of Chief Eze, in journalism profession. She said Eze and others was selected through voting, and by majority vote Chief Eze emerged the winner of this year’s edition
Hon Benson Nwachukwu the Ikwerre APC Chieftain, who received the award on behalf of Chief Eze chukwuemeka Eze thanked the organizers for the honour, saying the award will spur him to greater heights.
