Groups under the aegis of Agege New Delta Model (ANDEM), and Urhobo Youths Democrats Movement (UYDM), have congratulated the President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and the the Vice President-elect, Senator Kashim Shettima on their emergence as the winner of the keenly contested presidential election held on February 25, 2023.
While delivering a skillfully scripted congratulatory statement, the Coordinator of the group, Deacon Monday Enudi, described Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s victory in the keenly contested Presidential election as an act of God, and a testament of Tinubu’s sheer diligence, unassailable foresight, doggedness, ground swelling influence in the Nigerian political space, top-notch preparation, and unflinching commitment to rescue Nigeria from her present comatose economy and foster peaceful coexistence in the polity.
Deacon Enudi expressed confidence in the ability and capability of Tinubu to steer the ship of the country out of troubled waters, adding that his tenure would promote unfettered unity and mutual trust among the citizens.
Continuing, he ascribed to Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu an honour of political tactician imbued with uncommon intelligence through which he navigates in awesome proportion the contours in the chequered Nigerian political system, to the amazement of the stakeholders in Nigerian politics.
He reposed confidence in Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s commitment to his campaign slogan: ‘Renewed Hope’, saying he would be dexterous in constituting a government of national cohesion that will give every section of the country a sense of belonging, entrench rule of law, promote independence of the judiciary, eradicate poverty, provide equal opportunity to all irrespective sex, age, religion, ethnic affiliation or political leaning, and tackle national insecurity head-on.
He also expressed profound gratitude to Nigerian electorates for coming out in their millions to exercise their franchise during the Presidential election without trepidation.
Deacon Monday further urged the electorates to replicate that rare courage by coming out en masse on March 11 to exercise their franchise in the Governorship and House of Assembly elections to consolidate the effort being made by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to conduct credible elections in Nigeria.
