The newly inaugurated President of Ohaneze Ndigbo, Delta Central and South Senatorial District, High Chief Chiedu Clement Idama, on Sunday 18 August, 2022, performed his first official assignment by presiding over the meeting of the organisation held on Sunday 18 August, 2022.
Modestly dressed in sparkling white attire that resonated with the revered office of the “president,” Chief Idama, kicked off the business of the day with show of gratitude to the members of Ohaneze Ndigbo, Delta Central and South Senatorial Senatorial District for given him the privilege to emerge as the President of Ohaneze Ndigbo Delta Central and Delta South Senatorial Districts.
Continuing, he assured of his commitment to build on the success of his predecessor and take the organisation through an unprecedented success journey. Stating further, he described his inauguration as a call to service, saying he would strengthen existing unity among members. Speaking on the upcoming ‘Igbo Day,’ he said: “The 2022 Igbo Day would be marked in a special way,” even as he passionately called on members to do the needful to make the event a memorable one.
Speaking, High Chief Esdor Kalu, business mogul and former Chairman, Sports & Culture, Ohaneze Ndigbo Traders & Independent Workers Association (ONTIWA), Delta Central and Delta South, commended High Chief Chiedu Idama for his leadership prowess. He described the President as a man of honour and modest disposition. Continuing, Chief Kalu wished him a successful tenure, adding that the members of the Organisation would give him the needed support and cooperation as he pilots the affairs of Ohaneze Ndigbo Delta Central and Delta South Senatorial Districts.
