ILORIN/Nigeria: The Kwara State government has denied the rumors making rounds that the Nigerian Army were injecting school children with killer vaccines. The special adviser to the State Governor on security dispelled this rumor even as he urged the parents not to panic as there was no iota of truth to the rumors. The rumors that the Nigerian Army were injecting school children in Omu-Aran, Irepodun Local Government Area of Kwara State had made Parents and Guardians to abandon their businesses and head to various schools to retrieve their children/wards.
As parents besieged various schools, many of them had to shut their gates to prevent the panicking mob from gaining entrance. However, Bello urged parents to be calm and ignore the rumors as he stated that the Army was not undergoing any vaccination exercise.
It is important to note that this story about Army killer vaccination had started from October 11TH in the south-east state of Anambra and south-south state of Delta. It thereafter spread to Rivers and now in kwara. We hope that this story is put to bed and resolved as quickly as possible.
