KWALE/Nigeria: The political calculation seems to be changing in many part of Nigeria, especially in Delta State, as some of the second and third sects of political class seemed set to change the old ways of playing politics in Nigeria.
From information reaching our news room, there is indication that the second eleven of the political class has decided to dare the first eleven politicians in Ndokwa West Local Government Area of Delta State, to directly wrestle power from the old breeds.
From a reliable source, some present appointees of the Okowa government from the area just finished a meeting today, Wednesday 13, 2017 on the political future of the LGA, with a final decision to ensuring that the next candidate for the House of Assembly go to Abbi, Ogume and Emu axis.
The attendees in the meeting, including the Secretary General, of the PDP in the state had also decided that the next council chairman would not come from the Utagba Kingdom, since for close to 20 years they had been producing the Chairman of the LGA.
Our source, confirmed that the decision according to the members of the group is to ensure that equity prevails in the LGA.
Those that may had attended the meeting are the Present State Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party, Chief Obi Nzete, the Commissioner Representing Ndokwa nation in the Board of DESOPADEC, commissioners who are now serving, one time commissioner of Energy and Power.
Just this morning our sister platform published an article, www.ndokwareporters.com/future Elections in Delta: How Will the zoning Principle in Ukwuani Play Out, on the decision of the Ukwuani PDP leadership to exercise same principle. A lot of reactions had trailed that article, but from fillers our correspondents are getting from the political field in the entire Ndokwa nation, there is clamour for rotation among the various zones within the area.
We will give more detail of the meeting as more facts emergies.
