ABUJA/Nigeria: In a deft political manoeuvre, the Executive Assistant to the Delta State Governor on Communication, Dr Fred Latimore Oghenesube had been made the board chairman of the Nigerian Institute of Transport Technology.

The appointment which was made on Friday December 29, 2017 among the 209 board chairmen, 1,258 board members announced by the president have Alh Musa Dankadai, Ishaku Daniel, Sani bako kangiwa, Mr. Martins i. Usman, Hon. Adamu Bullachuwa, Muhammed i. Imam, Hajia fati N. Abubakar, Agboola Kelly.

In a statement made available to Ndokwa Reporters, Dr. Oghenesube while expressing surprise at the appointment, thanked the president for the appointment, and pledged his continued loyalty to Governor Ifeanyi Okowa.

“A List of Federal Appointments Just Released by the Federal Government has my name as Chairman, Nigerian Institute of Transport Technology, NITT”.

“It came to me at a time I was not expecting such a fantastic gesture from Mr President. It is a New Year gift if not tired to partisan politics, in the spirit of one Nigeria.

“I remain the Executive Assistant to His Execellency, the Governor of Delta State on Communication”. He said.

The new board chairman before his appointment as a spokesman to Okowa, was the attack dog of the All Progressive Congress, APC in Delta State. Recently he had been making public complains of how the inner cabal in the Government House Asaba had deprived him of his entitlements under governor Okowa.
