Ahead of the forthcoming 2023 general election, the Deputy President of the Nigerian Senate and All Progressives Congress (APC) Governorship candidate for Delta State, Sen. (Barr) Ovie Omo-Agege; the Governor of Delta State and Vice Presidential Candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa, and the Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly and PDP Governorship Candidate for Delta State, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Francis Orovwedor Oborevwori will attend the upcoming Aladja Community Unity Conference as Special Guests of Honour.
This is contained in a statement signed by a Senior Legislative Aide to the Deputy President of the Senate, Comrade Ighotegwolor Bezi.
The statement further stated that the Ovie of Udu Kingdom, HRM. (Barr.) Bethel Delekpe Owhoru I will be the Father of the Day, while the President of Michael & Cecelia Ibru’s University, Agbarha-Otor, Dr. Cecilia Ibru, will be the Guest of Honour.
The statement also stated that the Executive Chairman of Udu Local Government Council, Hon. Jite Brown would be chairman of the event which promises to be colourful.
The event is slated to hold on 25th – 27th November at Aladja Community Town hall, and will start at 10am and rounds off at 8pm everyday.
Comrade Bezi enjoined the people of Aladja, both at home and in the diaspora to come out enmass to make the event a memorable one.
