Olorogun O’tega Emerhor (APC): Emerhor, 63 hails from Evwreni, Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State. He is a Chartered Accountant, Businessman and Politician. He was a 2007 Governorship Aspirant of the People’s Democratic Party. Emerhor joined the All Progressives Congress in 2013 and contested for the Delta Central Senatorial By-election under the party’s platform but did not win. Again in 2015, He contested for Governor as the APC Candidate and lost to the incumbent Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of the PDP.

Senator Ovie Omo-Agege (APC): Omo-Agege, 57 is the incumbent Deputy Senate President of the Nigerian Senate. He assumed Office on the 11th of June, 2019. The Lawyer turned Politician began his political career as an Executive Assistant to the then Governor James Ibori in 2003, he held that position until 2005 and subsequently became the Commissioner for Special Duties. Few Months to the end of Ibori’s tenure, Omo-Agege was appointed as the Secretary to the State Government (SSG). In 2015, He was elected as Senator to represent Delta Central Senatorial District in the National Assembly under the Labour Party platform. However, he joined the All Progressives Congress on the 7th of March, 2017 and was re-elected under the party’s platform during the February 2019 General Elections and rose to the position of deputy Senate president.

Dr Braduce Amakazi Angozi (PDP): Sequel to general opinion poll Dr Braduce is considered to be one of the most credible personality in Delta state. An Ijaw born politician and industrialist was Born in 1960 he studied public Administration at university of Benin, also had additional Bachelor and master.(BPA and MPA) and PhD holder in strategic studies, Ambrose Ali University, Ekpoma among others international professional qualifications .
Dr Braduce Angozi, the political pope as fondly called started his political career as councilor in Burutu LGA then advanced to elected chairman of Burutu LGA. He was later appointment as commissioner of Agriculture Delta State by Fmr governor Chief James Ibori he was projected to Federal board member FMC, Yenagoa among other services in federal MDAs. In 2011 he contested governorship PDP primary with then incumbent governor Emmanuel Uduaghan and was first runner up.
Dr Braduce is an aspirant to watch out for considering his political antecedents and natural love of Deltans towards him across the ethnic and party lines which placed him more advantageous spotlight

(PDP): Edevbie, 57 is a University of Lagos trained Economist, after several years of working Abroad, He returned to Nigeria in 1999 and was appointed as Delta State Commissioner for Finance, he served in the capacity until 2003. In 2007, Edevbie became the Principal Secretary to the Former President Umaru Musa Yar’adua and served him until he died in May 2010. He participated in the 2014 PDP Gubernatorial Primaries but lost to the incumbent Governor Ifeanyi Okowa. After Okowa assumed Office in 2015, Edevbie was again appointed as Commissioner for Finance, he held that position until May 2019. In June 2019, He was appointed as Chief of Staff to the Governor of Delta State.
Chief James Ojadovba Augoye (PDP): native of Ugbokodo town in Okpe Local Government Area of Delta State, He was born on May 16th, 1965. He attended Edo State University now Ambrose Alli, University, Ekpoma, Nigeria and University of Benin, Benin-City
He holds a Grade 2 Certificate in Teacher Training from St. Michaels College, Oleh, 1986, B.Sc (Hons) Political Science, 1997 and Masters of Public Administration M.P.A, 2000.
Based on His meritorious contributions to his Department in his undergraduate days, in Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma Chief James Augoye was conferred with a Merit Award by the Departmental association, National Association of Political Science Students in 1995.

Honorable Chief James Augoye has a rich professional work experience. He started His working Career as a Primary School Teacher in Army Children Primary School II from 1988-1992. He served as an Education Officer in Uvwie Local Education Authority (1998–2000)
He was appointed Okpe Local Government Council Boss as Transition Committee Chairman, 2012-2014, Coordinator 2015 Peoples Democratic Party Campaign Council Okpe Local Government Area a position he used to mobilize support of over 65 towns, communities and villages in Okpe for Gov. Ifeanyi Okowa election in 2015, it is worthy of note that Chief James Augoye held same position for Gov. Okowa’s reelection in 2019.
He was appointed by His Excellency, Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa as a member of the Delta State Executive Council and Honorable Commissioner for Works, 2015 – 2019 a position he was reappointed to serve by the Governor recently.
Hon Aguoye is an aspirant to watch out for as a successor of this present administration besides the Okpe extraction of the Urhobo nation has been clamouring for power shift to Okpe nation.
