Fostering Achievements of Community Empowerment (FACE) Initiative; Community Empowerment and Development Initiative, CEDI; and other VNF advocates, have kicked-off a massive popularization of Vote Not Fight (VNF) campaign in churches across Delta State.
This was practically demonstrated on Sunday 25 November, 2022, when Vote Not Fight (VNF) campaign team interacted with members of the Christian community in some churches in Uvwie local government area of the state to spread the good message, “Vote Not Fight, Election No Be War.”

The interaction to popularize the Vote Not Fight Campaign took place in three parishes of Redeemed Christian Church of God – Power Arena Model Parish, Root of David Model Parish, and Ancient of Days Model Parish.
Speaking at the churches, the Executive Director of CEDI, Mrs. Martha Onose, charged the Christian community to support the Vote Not Fight campaign to ensure violence free elections in 2023.
Continuing, she emphasized the importance of a crisis free election in deepening credible democratic values in Delta State and Nigeria.

She urged the church to imbibe the slogan, “Vote Not Fight, Election No Be War,” and make it go viral in the state.
VOTE NOT FIGHT CAMPAIGN GETS TO NUJ, ISOKO CORRESPONDENTS’ CHAPEL
In a related development, Comrade Emeka Nwokocha, VNF advocate has taken the Vote Not Fight campaign to members of the Nigerian Union of Journalists, Isoko Correspondent’s Chapel, seeking their support in promoting a violence free election in Delta State and Nigeria.

Speaking to the journalists in Oleh, on Sunday 25, November, 2022, during their monthly congress, Comrade Nwokocha elaborated on the VNF initiative and sought their collaboration in promoting a violence free election in 2023, saying, “The importance of free and fair elections in strengthening democracy in Nigeria cannot be overemphasized.”
Responding, the Chairman of NUJ, Isoko Correspondents’ Chapel, Comrade Michael Illayah, commended FACE Initiative and other CSOs, including well-meaning individuals for promoting free and fair elections through the Vote Not Fight campaign platform.

Continuing, he assured of the Chapel’s support to ensuring a violence free elections in Delta State and Nigeria in the coming 2023 elections.
