Former Secretary to the Delta State Government (SSG), Comrade Ovuozourie Macaulay has sympathised with Hon. Prince Sam Ogrih over the death of his father, Prince Stephen Ekpebe Ogrih, Odio Orere of Uzere Kingdom.
Macaulay who paid a condolence visit to Ogrih at Uzere in Isoko South council area, said that Pa Ogrih could not have lived a better life than what he did, having died at 94 years.
He recalled that in the 70s, Pa Ogrih, along with his grandfather groomed and mentored many Isoko youths.
He said, “as a young school boy, I met you, a younger man when you came to join my late grandfather at Afor in Ndokwa East council area of the State. Both of you provided opportunities and leadership for a lot of Isoko people to find their feet in that land.”
Continuing, Macaulay said, “you will continue to be remembered for your doggedness and strength of character. I pray that Pa Ogrih’s soul finds a place in God’s bossom.
