BENIN-CITY/Nigeria: The National Officer of Neo Black Movement, NBM has sent a strong warning to her members worldwide against celebrating its annual July 7th Founder’s Day, saying it is unlawful and can cause civil disturbances as well as security threat to the society.

This was made known by the National Head of the Movement in Benin City recently.

In a press statement made available to journalists, he said the July 7th or Founder’s Day has no place in NBM’s calendar nor it’s Constitution, hence, the National Office advised all members to steer clear of such ceremony and be law abiding.

“I want to reinstate that the earlier directive placing embargo on all NBM OF AFRICA activities at the zonal and regional level is still valid. No gathering is allowed till this global pandemic is curtailed or government advises otherwise.

Please, kindly adhere to government / health officials directive on curbing COVID-19 by always remembering to wash your hands regularly with soap and running water, wearing of face mask whenever you’re in public places and practicing of social distancing .

Covid-19 virus is real”. He stated.
