The achievements of Delta State governor, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa has been given prominence at the recently held Ndokwa nation town hall meeting.
The forum was the initiative of the Delta State Host Communities producing oil and gas (HOSTCOM) aimed at mobilising and sensitising the oil bearing communities on the upcoming 2019 election.
The town hall meeting played host to an array of community hench men and women including the youths from the oil bearing communities across Delta state.
The message from the Chairman of HOSTCOM Delta State Chapter, Evang. Gabriel Isibeluo, was quite apt and purposeful as it bore repeated appeal to the host communities to give incumbent governor Ifeanyi Okowa another opportunity to steer Delta state to sustained economic and infrastructural growth.
Isibeluo noted without equivocation that the achievement recorded by governor Okowa’s administration is undeniably unprecendented, saying that it traverses the nooks and crannies of the state.
He added that HOSTCOM has enjoyed an unbroken cordial relationship with governor Ifeanyi Okowa which unarguably translated into numerous projects visible and verifiable in the oil bearing communities in recent times.
The members of HOSTCOM, Ndokwa Chapter were no less satisfied with the developmental trend of governor Okowa’s administration, even as many noted that re-election of the governor in the 2019 gubernatorial election will go on to justifying his landmark achievements over time.
They called on Deltans to come out en masse to vote for governor Okowa and other PDP candidates to ensure the progressive development of Delta State is not truncated in the coming political dispensation.
