Senator (Dr.) Ifeanyi Okowa
ASABA/Nigeria: The Executive Assistant to the Governor of Delta State, Bishop Greatman Nmalagu on Religious Matters, has congratulated the Governor, Senator (Dr.) Ifeanyi Okowa on his 61 Years Birthday Anniversary, praying for good health, wisdom to continue to lead the state.
Bishop Nmalagu in a statement made available to journalists in Asaba on Wednesday, July 8, 2020, while congratulating the governor, prayed for the first family for quick recovery from the Novel Coronavirus, which had attacked the governor, his wife and their daughter who is a frontline worker.
The Executive Assistant, in his message gave glorying tribute to the governor as a blessing to the state, as he had carried policies that had been all embracing to all religion, ethnic and tribe in the state.
He pointed out that as the Executive Assistant to the Governor on Religious Matters, he has a firsthand knowledge of the governor’s efforts to build peace amongst the various religious groups in the state, which had promoted the peace the state now enjoys.
“Your Excellency, on behalf of my family, and staff, I congratulate you as you celebrate this special Birthday Anniversary. Your leadership of the state for five years had been a blessing, as policies generation, spread and implementation had ensured peace and harmony reigns amongst the various tribes, religion and the different stakeholders in the state.”
“As the governor of the state, your actions to curb the spread of the COVID-19 in the state. You prepared the facilities, which today had helped the state to trace contacts and test. This has yielded huge results, with more recovery from the virus.”
“Despite your efforts to curb the spread of the COVID-19, your family fell victim, it’s not strange, as you are the commander in front to combat the virus. We pray for the fast recovery of your family.”
