EFFURUN/Nigeria: Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), had held an entrepreneurship training for women in Delta Central in Uvwie Local Government Council, Effurun on Wednesday May 8th, 2019.
The coordinator of the training, Mr Ebi Warekiomo who spoke to our correspondents during the event, disclosed that the 4-day programme was aimed at developing the entrepreneurship skill of women in the Niger Delta Region and that the commission may empower those who are successful to enable them empower others in order for the programme to have a multiplier effect on the society.
He also disclosed that participants would be given stipend at the end of each day of the programme
According to Mr Werekiomo the 4-day training programme was billed to end on Saturday May 11th, 2019.
