Commissioner for Housing and Urban Renewal, Delta State, Architect Joseph Ogeh, has described governor Ifeanyi Okowa as a pragmatic and dependable leader with the right frame of mind to launch Delta State on the pinnacle of sustained economic and infrastructural growth, saying that the governor’s lagacy in governance is unprecedented as evident in the massive infrastructural projects and human capacity development routinely going on in the state in the past three years.
The Commissioner made the statement while fielding questions from journalists during governor Okowa’s campaign which attracted a mammoth crowd of the supporters of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
The Commissioner added that governor Okowa merits second term in office as his model of leadership is legendary, noting that the opposition has no integrity and place in Delta State. He said, “the oppositions are cowed by the achievements of governor Okowa which is undeniably insurmountable by any opposition.”
Ogeh, passionately urged Deltans to support the re-election bid of governor Okowa to guarantee lasting economic development of the state and its teeming populace. He called on Deltans to discountenance the antics of the opposition parties, saying their claims are vague and recycled political girmicks orchestrated to score cheap political points.
The commissioner was optimistic that governor Okowa would record a landslide victory at the 2019 gubernatorial election, including all the candidates of PDP gunning for political offices in the state and at federal level.
He called on the good people of Delta state to vote en masse for all PDP candidates in the forthcoming 2019 general elections, noting that it is only their votes that will guarantee victory of PDP at the polls.
