Okpanam Chiefs Felicitate With Ogoani on Conferment of Honorary Doctorate Degree

ASABA/Nigeria: Chiefs in Okpanam kingdom have felicitated with the Ugoani of the kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Mbanefo Michael Ogbolu, on the recent conferment of a Honorary Doctorate Degree on him by the European-American University, Commonwealth of Dominica, African Regional Operations.

During a well attended ceremony held at Afe Babalola Hall, University of Lagos, Lagos, the traditional ruler was conferred with an Honorary Doctorate Degree of Arts in Peace, Conflict Resolution and Community Development Honoris Causa of the University.

They said the Royal Father is an avid philanthropist that has touched the lives of many widows, orphans and the down trodden in the society and a person who believes in equity and social justice.

The Chiefs, who expressed happiness that the Ugoani was found worthy of the prestigious conferment, thanked the authority of the institution for recognizing the laudable contributions of the traditional ruler to the development of the nation, state and Okpanam kingdom.
