SAPELE/Nigeria: Ahead of the 2019 general elections in Nigeria, a religious cleric Pastor Idowu Ambrose Ogana, has predicted that during and after the elections, the nation will remain peaceful and more prosperous than ever before.
Pastor Ogana who is the minister in-charge of the living faith church in Elume area of Sapele Local government area of Delta state, advised Nigerians and the electorates to go about the elections peacefully and never to see it as a do or die affair, stressing that power resides in the hands of God alone since no man can do it.
He advised Christians to embrace God more in 2019 so that more blessings will come their way, making references to how God delivered him who was once a beggar from his sinful life and became born again Christian with abundant blessings coming his way on daily basis.
He told journalists at his residence along mission road in Sapele that he has a yearly programme where he gives freely to the widow, physically challenged persons, aged persons, the Prisons Inmate as well as the less privileged in the society which formed the bases of his continual blessings from God.
He charged Christians to do more this year by giving to the less privileged in the society, meeting the needs of the church of God, as well as doing good to all manner of persons irrespective of their tribes and colours.
Pastor Ogana charges Christians further to live a very holy life and make honesty their watchword so that the society can have absolute confidence on them, the only way they can better their lots in life and not through and dubious means that can earn them no good.
The man of God revealed that his 2019 programme of given to those in need is going to be awesome and power packed.
The Clerics who is also the Sapele Prisons Fellowship Coordinator (PFN) said they were in the Sapele Prisons close to the end of 2018 where they trained the inmates on a programme they titled :(Sycamore tree project) where a total of 27 Prison Inmates got certificates after they underwent 8 weeks intensive training on how they will become better citizens tomorrow after leaving the prison environment.
He told the press that the programme is on the Ripple effect of the crimes committed by the inmate where attention is given to crimes they have committed and nothing is done to remedy the plights of the victims of their crimes.
