The Corolla LE Car that Had Accident Along Mariam Babangida Way, Asaba

ASABA/Nigeria: A reckless truck driver, today April 20, 2020 crashed into a brand new Corolla LE car with Reg. No. Abuja RSH- 772 BM along Maryam Babangida Way, just by the Appeal Court complex junction.
The truck driver was said to have finished supplying blocks and from the Appeal Court side of the road, crossed to the other side of the road and hit the Corolla car coming from the Okpanam road axis and heading to the express
Eye witnesses said the truck driver was reckless, that he just ran into the road without minding if another vehicle was coming from the other side of the lane.
They said as soon as the car was hit, the truck driver jumped out and fled, may be thinking he had killed his victim.
However, the car owner was able to come out of the totally destroyed car unhurt.
He identified himself as Clem, a member of the Covid-19 Team on essential duty.
As at the time of filing this report, a police woman had taken measurement of the accident scene and about towing the truck and the Corolla to their station.
