As the World marks World Peace Day today, September 21, The Executive Director of Value Rebirth and Empowerment Initiative (VREI), Pastor Edewor Egedegbe has joined the World to commemorate the 2021 World Peace a call on humanity to end racism and promote peaceful coexistence, saying that, “peace is trans generational which by default presupposes that we should live peaceably with all men irrespective of colour, race, ethnicity or tribe.”

Continuing, Pastor Egedegbe who doubles as the Director of Studies (DOS) of Value Rebirth-Centre LSD Leadership School, Effurun Study Centre, said, “the theme of this year’s World Peace Day, ‘End Racism. Build Peace,’ emphasizes the essence of living together in peace and harmony and putting end racism. Therefore, it is in that mood I join millions of organisations, individuals and heads of governments across the world to commemorate this all important day and reaching out to Deltans, and Nigerians to embrace the tenets of peace and guide it jealousy because when there is unfettered peace, society will be a better place for all to live in.”

“Peace is very crucial for every country to achieve better development, hence the need for all to live in peace irrespective of religious or cultural differences. As peace advocate, I want to emphasize strongly that there can be no meaningful development without peace and the peace of every nation begins with the individual and family,” he stated.
