WARRI/Nigeria: A PDP governorship aspirant, Olorogun David Edevbie, has sent a “thank you” message to all the delegates at the LGA and Ward levels, as well as Councillors, for, according him, a rousing reception during his visits to Delta Central and Delta South Senatorial Districts recently.
The three times Commissioner for Finance noted that the rapt attention with which the delegates and the Councillors listened to his messages of hope for Delta State showed that he is accepted and supported by many. He also thanked statutory delegates for acknowledging his wealth of professional cum cognate experience, as well as educational qualifications that stand him out in the Delta State 2023 gubernatorial race.
Olorogun David Edevbie reiterated his promise to embark on aggressive industrialisation projects and modernisation programmes without delay if voted into office. He said he would not learn on the job given his broad experience in government since 1999 at both State and Federal levels.
While thanking the Senatorial, Federal Constituency, LGA and Ward Coordinators of the Edevbie Campaign Organization for a well-done job, the economic development expert charged those in Delta North to continue to interface with the statutory delegates, preparatory to his visits to the Senatorial District soon.
On why he chose to visit the delegates in Delta North last, Olorogun Edevbie said his decision was strategic, with the highpoint being the visit to Oshimili South delegates in Asaba, the State Capital. He assures delegates in Delta North of the same in-depth engagement as experienced by their Delta Central and Delta South counterparts.
