OZORO/Nigeria: The Permanent Secretary, Delta State Post Primary Education Board (PPEB), Mr. Augustine Chukwuma has commended Governor Ifeanyi Okowa for the monumental strides in the area of standardising the education system in the state.
Chukwuma made the commendation Igbide in Isoko South Local Government Area of the State during the burial ceremony of late Chief (Dr) Denis Egwe Etaluku, husband of the Chairman of the board, Chief (Mrs) Christiana Etaluku.
He said that Senator Okowa had actualised the key cardinal points in education which according to him , included inspiration for teachers , improving the workforce as well as providing conducive teaching and learning environment.
While describing the deceased as a great disciplinarian and consummate community leader that brought meaningful socioeconomic development to his community and beyond, said that though his death had created vacuum his endearing legacies were worthy of emulation.
Chukwuma said that the wife of the deceased, Chief (Mrs) Christiana Etaluku had continued to contribute meaningfully towards the success story of the board, adding that she was a woman of substance.
The Permanent Secretary prayed God to give the wife , Chief (Mrs) Etaluku, the children and family the fortitude to bear the loss , saying that the deceased died when his wisdom, fatherly advise and services to humanity was still needed.
